I apply to you with hope that your esteemed news paper can assist us in settle the problem that is vital not only for me but for the whole neighborhood. Our neighborhood is located near the city airport. There are hundred families in the neighborhood. We got the information that the airport authorities are planning to increase the number of flights and make the local airport bigger. Indeed, the vicinity of the airport causes us tremendous unrest, and plans of expand of the airport will make our lives unbearable.

The reasons are following:
1. The real estate value will decrease considerably.
2. All those planes for expanding the airport activities will damage our health.

We have already protested, but without any success, therefore we apply to you with hope that you would raise public opinion for our support.

Dear Mr….

Please be advised that I cannot afford to pay next month’s rent when it is due. Unfortunately, I lost considerable amount of money the other day. And the money I have left is enough only to buying the food for about a month, so I have no chance but to wait until my parents send me the money. They always send me money in beginning of the month, so I could pay you as soon as I have it.

I am using this opportunity, to inform you about some problems with a flat. Firstly, there are termites in the kitchen and it is necessary to invite the debugging service, as soon as possible. Secondly, the tap in the bathroom have been leaking already two weeks. So I have to overpay the water billing. The last problem is, that somebody stole mat from entry door.

I would appreciate if you would extend the rent payment till the beginning of the next month. Also please take the necessary steps to improve the problems I mentioned
